A Community Group is a small group gathering for the purpose of experiencing Christ and the Christian life together.

At Bell Creek, Community Groups are key for developing relationships in the church. Some of us are already connected to a small group in some capacity at BC3, however, many of us are not. Therefore, new Community Groups are formed each Fall with the intent of making it easy for everyone to connect.

Our goal is to have as many people as possible involved in some kind of small group setting. The ideal place to start is a Community Group.

Community Groups meet regularly (some meet weekly or every other week) to fellowship, pray and discuss scripture. These groups serve as a wonderful connection to the church. This is where we get to know one another, care for one another and hold each other up.

Don't Waste Your Life

Don't Waste Your Life Community Groups are starting the week of September 20 for the Fall Study, and on the week of January 17 for the Winter Study.

Don't Waste Your Life is a DVD study by John Piper where we will be challenged to wake up from the American dream to the soul-saving reality that “to live is Christ and to die is gain.”.

The study has ten 15-minute teaching sessions. We will do 5 sessions this Fall and 5 sessions in the Winter. The cost per participant is $5, which covers the Fall and Winter studies. Study guides will be provided for free at bellcreek.org.

Leap Over the Wall

Leap Over the Wall is an encouraging and challenging time of great teaching and fellowship. 1 Corinthians will be studied this fall. Leap Over a Wall meets on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays at 7:30am beginning September 19th at McKinley Elementary School.

Monday Night Bible Study

Grounds for Faith

Grounds for Faith is our bi-monthly meeting for women that includes Bible teaching, discussion, friendship, coffee, tea and goodies. We will be studying characters from the Old Testament. Grounds for Faith meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday evenings of the month beginning September 15, from 7:00-8:30pm at McKinley Elementary School.

First Place 4 Health

Ladies do you want to lose weight, maintain your current weight or want to start eating healthier? Join us in supporting each other as we put Christ first in our lives and rely upon Him to help us in everything we do, including losing weight. It will begin September 21st –October 26. It will run from 7:15-8:30 on Monday evenings. We meet at the church offices in McKinley Elementary School and the cost is $13. Gracestoration

Gracestoration is a personal and practical Bible Study that is designed to help women understand God and His Grace so that we can experience and enjoy Him in our journey on a daily basis. This “Bible study to the heart”, has no homework and so it’s perfect for the woman on the go, the busy mom and the working gal. We will meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month starting September 22- December 8th and resuming January 12-March 23, 2010, 6:45-830 PM. Living Beyond Yourself

We are beginning an in depth, Beth Moore bible study called Living Beyond Yourself: Exploring the Fruits of the Spirit.  This 11 session interactive study includes personal, daily assignments and bi-weekly, video centered group sessions.  We will meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month starting September 22- December 8th and resuming January 12-March 9, 2010.
